To All Moms, With Love
I have asked a few of my closest and dearest friends to share “what they love most” about their moms, as family is more important today than ever. Mother’s Day can be a challenge for many of us due to distance, loss, or other circumstances, and I am sensitive to all. While many of us are unable to be physically together, we can still share our true heartfelt sentiments that often get missed, even when we are physically together.
This is a place to share the joy and celebrate the positives in your relationship with your mom. If you are willing, write in the comments or tag A Studio at 68 on Instagram/Facebook and share what you love most about your mom (picture optional) so that your mom can feel the love in your heart and gratitude for all that she has given you.
Happy Mother’s Day!
I’ll begin with my mom, Bonnie Garely, but to so many others, known as Grammy. She is biologically a mom to two and grammy to four but I have honestly lost count as to how many of my friends and their children refer to her as mom or grammy. She is family to so many and has a love for all!
At 81 she is still amazingly active, strong, present, loving, and continues to be my biggest champion. She is taking Yoga on line, Zooming with her photography friends, and continues to find ways to volunteer, be engaged, and find purpose. She is fierce in all that she wants for me and graciously always gives her never-ending unconditional love and support. I know I have the best mother in the world for me, and I am truly grateful!
It’s hard to put into words what I love most about you. You are my mom, my best friend, and my forever twin. Through every step of my life you have helped me, guided me, cheered me on when I needed it most, and more importantly, loved me unconditionally through it all. The radiating light within your gentle soul is infectious and continues to inspire me to be the best me I can be. You are strong. You are beautiful. You are so damn loved.
You are my mother and I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
My mom is a survivor. She is determined and true.
My mom is a giver. And I love and miss her and can’t wait to see her one day soon.

Happy Mother’s Day, I love you more.

Glamorous, glorious, gorgeous, but yet so down to earth! A few months short of 90, my mum “mummy’ as I call her, is my role model – family means everything to my her – she was always there – both physically and mentally. She never took sides, or pitched one against the other – it really taught us to get along, and I truly believe it is also what made us 3 so close. Followed the same practice with my 2 and am so glad to say, they share a very special bond today! – Chinku
The thing I love most about my mom is that she is herself, unapologetically, 100% of the time. And that’s a really beautiful thing to look up to as a daughter. – Sabrina
is her unwavering support
in helping me attain my goals
and her willingness to accept
me for who I am. – Tyler
My Mom is a pure delight! Mum brings cheerful, positive energy with her wherever she goes and that feeling is contagious. Creative and energetic, she always knows how to have fun, And her love, compassion, and tenderness continues to take care of the people around her, putting others over herself. I’m so lucky to have this beautiful woman as my Mother! – Tracy Anne
In addition to always being so fun to be around, our mother’s light-hearted spirit is compassionate and she provides endless support for all those in her life who depend on her. Her positivity, gentle kindness and unconditional love guide everything she does, and we cannot thank her enough for her contributions to our entire family and her everyday efforts both big and small. We love you Mom! Thank you for being you! – Michael & Lauren
That’s me and my mom. She’s taught me a lot about being free spirited, going with the flow and creating life adventures with the ones you love most. She’s a hoot and my best friend.
