Some Fun Facts About Me
When I was in 2nd grade I was FORCED to go to special gym. I couldn’t skip and was scarred for YEARS! LOL, I am now a Personal Trainer and Health and Wellness Coach.
I learned to Roller Blade at the age of 48
I ran a marathon 18 years ago in Hawaii, no speed record but it was great to finish!
I have been with my life partner Rick for the past 6 years and together we have hiked Mt. Washington and Mt. Katahdin. Both rated as top challenging hikes on the East Coast.
Together, Rick and I learned to sail 5 years ago and someday plan on living on our boat that Rick has been building with his dad for 20 years. This is an extreme example about Progress. He finishes a little bit more each year! I must admit, this is a rare case that we both wish for perfection as we are ready for it to be done!
I am thermally challenged (often cold) and prefer the temperature to be 80 degrees or warmer. How did I land in New England? In winter I preheat my bed with an electric mattress pad to temperatures Rick says are lethal in 30 minutes.
I love the outdoors, being physically active, cooking and being mom to my two kids, Samantha, (Sam) age 25, Evan, age 21 and Ricks daughter who is 17. We have a 13-year old chocolate lab that still loves to swim, go for mini hikes and most of all just being loved. We plan on having her live FOREVER!
Prior to my career change several years ago, I had a catering business named Simply Dahlicious, Custom Catering and Confections. I prefer to cook anything that I haven’t cooked before.
I am passionate about all things related to health and wellness and it brings me great joy to celebrate the success of my clients.
